Brazil private jet catering with Global Diners covers 33 airports, from the business towers of São Paulo to the beaches of Bahia, the agribusiness cities of the interior and the river ports of the Amazon. Brazil is a continent in its own right, with distances that rival Europe and a cuisine that changes every few hundred kilometres. This guide brings our whole Brazilian network together in one place, so crews, schedulers and passengers can see at a glance where we serve, what to expect from each region and how to order with complete calm.

Global Diners prepares VVIP inflight catering in our own kitchens in Paris, Nice and Madrid and in our kitchens across more than 2,500 airports. In Brazil, the same Global Diners menu, the same allergen labelling and the same specialised team travel with you from São Paulo Guarulhos (SBGR / GRU) and Campinas (SBKP / VCP) to Salvador (SBSV / SSA), Florianópolis (SBFL / FLN) and Manaus (SBEG / MAO). Each region below links to a dedicated guide with local flavours, events and practical tips.

São Paulo, Rio and the South-East

Most business flights in Brazil begin or end in the South-East. São Paulo is the financial and corporate capital of the country, served by São Paulo Guarulhos (SBGR / GRU) for international departures and São Paulo Congonhas (SBSP / CGH) in the heart of the city. Outside the city, Campinas (SBKP / VCP) and Jundiaí welcome a large business aviation community, while São José dos Campos (SBSJ / SJK) and Sorocaba (SDCO / SOD) are home to aerospace activity. Our São Paulo guide and Campinas and Jundiaí guide cover each airport in detail.

Rio de Janeiro adds glamour and a very different rhythm. Santos Dumont sits on Guanabara Bay, a few minutes from the business district, and Galeão handles long-range departures. Carnival, New Year on Copacabana and the summer season shape the year, as described in our Rio de Janeiro catering guide.

Brasília, Minas Gerais and the agribusiness interior

Brasília concentrates government, diplomatic and institutional travel, with discreet service and punctual departures as the priorities. Minas Gerais, around Belo Horizonte Confins (SBCF / CNF) and Belo Horizonte Pampulha (SBBH / PLU), is known across Brazil for its generous cooking: pão de queijo, slow-cooked chicken, queijo canastra and doce de leite. Further inland, Goiânia (SBGO / GYN), Campo Grande (SBCG / CGR), Ribeirão Preto (SBRP / RAO) and Uberlândia (SBUL / UDI) form the heart of Brazilian agribusiness, where executives often visit several farms, plants and fairs in a single trip.

For these multi-stop days, our team plans each leg in advance: a breakfast on the first flight, a light lunch between visits and a warm dinner on the way home, with separate crew meals. Our article on multi-city itineraries across Brazil shares more ideas.

From the southern coast to the Amazon

The South: Curitiba, Santa Catarina, Porto Alegre and Iguaçu

Southern Brazil has a cooler climate, strong European heritage and some of the country's most dynamic industrial cities. Curitiba (SBCT / CWB) and Porto Alegre (SBPA / POA) welcome business flights all year, Florianópolis (SBFL / FLN) and Navegantes (SBNF / NVT) come alive in the summer season, and Foz do Iguaçu (SBFI / IGU) is the gateway to the Iguaçu Falls. Churrasco traditions inspire generous meat mains, while Santa Catarina's oysters, mussels and shrimp give seafood menus a local accent.

The North-East coast and the Amazon

From Bahia to Maranhão, the North-East offers warm water, long beaches and a cuisine shaped by African, Portuguese and indigenous traditions. Salvador (SBSV / SSA) and Porto Seguro (SBPS / BPS) serve Bahia and Trancoso, Recife (SBRF / REC), Natal (SBSG / NAT) and Fortaleza (SBFZ / FOR) open the way to the dunes and islands, and São Luís (SBSL / SLZ) leads to the white dunes and lagoons of the Lençóis Maranhenses. Our Salvador guide and Recife guide describe these coasts in detail.

In the North, Belém (SBBE / BEL) and Manaus (SBEG / MAO) connect business and expedition flights with the Amazon. Here, açaí, cupuaçu and river fish such as tambaqui and pirarucu bring unique flavours on board, and careful planning of quantities for onward legs is part of every order.

Brazilian flavours on the Global Diners menu

Brazilian passengers and their guests love to find a taste of home on board, and international travellers enjoy discovering it. Our team combines the Global Diners menu with regional touches that travel well and reheat beautifully:

  • Pão de queijo: warm cheese bread from Minas Gerais, perfect at breakfast or with coffee.

  • Picanha: the favourite Brazilian cut, served sliced with farofa and vinaigrette, sauces packed separately.

  • Moqueca: fish and shrimp in coconut milk and dendê, a Bahian classic that reheats gently.

  • Açaí and tropical fruit: açaí bowls, mango, papaya, passion fruit and cashew fruit juices.

  • Tapioca and pastel: light crepes and crisp pastries for short hops and afternoon service.

  • Brigadeiros: the chocolate sweets every Brazilian celebration ends with, boxed for the cabin.

In Brazil, a good flight ends the way a good meal does: with a strong cafezinho and a brigadeiro.

Halal, kosher and alcohol-free menus are available everywhere in our network, with allergen labelling on every item. Caipirinhas and Brazilian wines are offered subject to local rules, and fresh juices, coconut water and guaraná make refreshing alternatives. Our article on Brazilian flavours on board explores the dishes in more depth.

Seasons and events across Brazil

Brazil's calendar is full of moments that bring extra flights. Planning a little earlier than the usual 24 hours keeps these weeks especially smooth:

  • Summer and New Year (December to February): Rio, Florianópolis, Trancoso and the North-East beaches are at their liveliest.

  • Carnival (February or March): Rio, Salvador and Recife celebrate for several days, as covered in our Carnival catering guide.

  • Agrishow (late April to early May): the agribusiness fair at Ribeirão Preto draws executives from across the country.

  • Festas Juninas (June): São João celebrations fill the North-East, with Bumba-meu-boi in São Luís.

  • Lençóis Maranhenses lagoons (around June to September): the best season for flights to São Luís.

  • Formula 1 weekend in São Paulo (usually November): one of the busiest weeks of the year around São Paulo, featured in our Grand Prix catering guide.

Order Inflight Catering Ahead of Events in the São Paulo Interior: Campinas (SBKP / VCP)

Viracopos International Airport serves Campinas, a major technology, research and industrial city in the interior of São Paulo state. It is one of Brazil's largest air-cargo airports and a busy hub for domestic passenger flights. Business aviation brings executives visiting multinational plants, technology parks, logistics centres and the region's universities, as well as agribusiness owners from the surrounding farmland. Its location away from central São Paulo makes it a practical alternative for some flights to the wider metropolitan region. Traffic is driven by business and is steady throughout the year.

Agrishow at Campinas (SBKP / VCP): Late April to early May

Agrishow in Ribeirão Preto is one of the world's largest agricultural technology fairs. Executives, farmers and machinery buyers travel into the São Paulo interior throughout the week, and Viracopos is a convenient arrival point for international jets before onward hops or road transfers. Order catering a little earlier than the usual 24 hours and choose hearty, practical menus: pernil (roast pork) sandwiches, rice and bean bowls, cheese bread and fresh fruit for long show days, plus crew meals.

Event dates vary from year to year, so please confirm the current schedule with our team when you order.

Dining and shopping near Campinas (SBKP / VCP)

Campinas has a well-developed restaurant scene in the Cambuí and Nova Campinas districts, where steakhouses, Italian trattorias, Japanese restaurants and modern bistros cater to the business community. The Mercadão, the city's municipal market, sells regional cheeses, sausages and sweets in a historic building. Interior São Paulo cooking, known as comida caipira, is built on pork, corn and cassava. Shoppers head to Shopping Iguatemi Campinas and the large Parque Dom Pedro Shopping, while Holambra's garden centres sell flowers and plants.

Local flavours for flights from Campinas (SBKP / VCP)

The interior of São Paulo state has a rural, comforting food tradition known as comida caipira, shaped by Italian, Portuguese and Indigenous influences. Pamonha, sweet or savoury fresh corn wrapped in husks, and curau, a corn pudding, are regional favourites. Chicken with polenta, homemade pasta and Italian-style breads reflect the area's many Italian immigrant families. Cheese breads, queijo minas and slow-cooked beef dishes are common, and the nearby fruit-growing towns produce strawberries, grapes, guava and persimmon. For the cabin, pão de queijo, cold cuts and cheese boards, corn cakes and fresh fruit work well at breakfast, while grilled beef salads and pasta dishes suit lunch. Doce de leite and goiabada with cheese, known as Romeu e Julieta, are traditional desserts. Brazilian coffee and fresh juices are the go-to drinks. Regional dishes and restaurant pick-up from Campinas are available on request, prepared by our kitchens.

Also nearby: Jundiaí (SBJD / QDV)

Jundiaí's state airport lies about 60 km north-west of São Paulo and has become one of the busiest general aviation fields in the state. It is a base for business aircraft, helicopters, maintenance shops and flight schools, and a convenient alternative to the larger São Paulo airports for executives working in the capital, Campinas and the industrial corridor along the Anhanguera and Bandeirantes highways. Logistics, pharmaceuticals, food processing and automotive suppliers all have large plants nearby. Leisure flights connect weekend homes in the interior with beach destinations, and traffic rises sharply for major events in São Paulo.

Jundiaí developed on the old routes inland from São Paulo and grew with coffee and the railway in the nineteenth century, followed by a wave of Italian immigration. The city's railway museum, in the former workshops of a historic railway company, recalls this era, and the cathedral and historic centre preserve older buildings. Italian traditions survive in festivals, family wineries and the local accent.
